14 People, 3 National Parks, and an Epic Road Trip

In July 2025, a family of 14 packed their suitcases, their snacks, and a hundred tiny expectations into a van. They finally set off on a road trip that had been planned, re-planned, and talked about for months. Spanning three generations, the group brought along different routines, travel styles, and ideas of what makes a vacation memorable.

The plan was ambitious but simple. The kind where the roads are long, and no one’s really in a rush to get anywhere. As you know… what mattered most was that they were together. It was about slowing down.

Packing for the Journey

Their route stretched across three iconic national parks: Grand Teton for the dramatic landscapes, Yellowstone for the thrill of nature in motion, and Glacier for its winding roads and alpine stillness.

The days leading up to the trip were filled with little signals that this was really happening. Slowly, steadily, it had come together. Messages flew back and forth, rough itineraries were prepared, and matching t-shirts for “Road Trip 2025” came just in time.

Three Parks, One Story

The trip began with a drive to Grand Teton National Park. As the jagged peaks cut sharply into the sky, the air held a cool, still silence. Trails wound past Jenny Lake and open meadows, leading to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. The wide, open views invited people to pause… and take a deep breath. After two nights in the valley, we moved on.

Yellowstone brought contrast. Geysers erupted without warning. Hot springs shimmered in surreal colours. And the ground steamed around Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, and the Yellowstone Canyon. Bison wandered around wherever they pleased, often right across the road, unbothered by traffic or time. It was loud, restless and alive. Two days here only skimmed the surface.

Further up, Glacier National Park brought stillness back. Roads narrowed and mountains towered. The Going-to-the-Sun Road curled between cliffs and snow-dusted peaks. Lake McDonald lay still like glass, while Logan Pass offered its alpine silence and icy trails. A night spent beneath those stars felt longer than most.

Three parks. Three moods. And somewhere between the lakes, geysers and mountain passes, the matching t-shirts made their way into photos.

What the Road Gave Us

This wasn’t just a vacation. It was a rare moment when three generations moved together, at the same pace, sharing the same views. The road didn’t just take them places; it gave everyone something to carry back. The tees faded with wear. The camera roll filled up. Stayed the longest was the feeling of being part of something.

And Here We Are…
